The Kamra was invited to present its position re Emergency Contraception (EC) to the conjoint Parliamentary Standing Committee for Family, Health and Social Affairs on Monday 25/07/16 . As a professional body the Kamra clarified its approach, did not take a political position, whilst making it clear that it was firmly going to safeguard the interests of pharmacists and the patients they ultimately serve.
