The President and Executive Council of the Kamra ta’ l-Ispizjara ta’ Malta express their sympathy on the passing away of our dear pharmacist colleague Owen Farrugia at the age of 38 years. Owen graduated BPharm (Hons) in 1996.
Owen practised in regulatory affairs, working for a local distributing firm as a Responsible Person. He also contributed to the academic formation of pharmacists at the University of Malta, Department of Pharmacy. He was a regularly paid up member of the Kamra and always expressed his opinion on professional matters. The Kamra appreciated his gently expressed constructive criticism and his tenacity and determination. Through his behaviour and commitment, it was clearly evident that he had his profession at heart. May God grant him eternal rest and comfort his family in bearing their great loss.
