DIABETES affects 31 million people in the European Union – in Malta there are about 40,000 people who live with Diabetes. Around the world, there are over 350 million people living with this condition. Every 10 seconds, a person dies with diabetes whilst another two are diagnosed with this condition. Urgent action is necessary to prevent this growing epedimic of Diabetes.
Since 1981, the Maltese Diabetes Association (MDA) was at the forefront of educating society and promoting awareness on this condition. The MDA depends on the generosity of the general public to keep working hard in favour of the thousands of people living with diabetes.
Dine4Diabetes is an Annual Fund Raising Event for the Association.
It will be an enjoyable evening, with an excellent buffet menu and entertainment from Vinny Vella JR and his Jazz band. Flowing wine will be served throughout the evening and is inclusive in the price of Euro. 30 per person. Details of the Dinner and application are attached.
