The Kamra hosted a meeting with AMR and PRIMA on monday 19th January to discuss the recently issued LN 401 of 2014 amending SL 458.49 Prescribing and Dispensing Rules (Medicines Act CAP 458) which introduces generic prescribing and dispensing across the board. The meeting was very cordial and during the same meeting amendments were proposed to LN 401 of 2014 which will be presented to the PS Health in an upcoming meeting of the AMR. As already has been announced the Kamra tal-Ispizjara ta’ Malta has written to PS Health to this effect (such letter maybe diwnloaded from the Members Area News section). During the meeting the 3 organisations established a good platform for further discussion on common issues.
