The Malta Chamber of Pharmacists is pleased to announce – the

Commonwealth Travel Fellowship 2013.

This fellowship is being awarded by the Commonwealth Pharmacists Association (CPA) of which the Malta Chamber of Pharmacists is a founder member.

The aim of the CPA is  to promote and disseminate the pharmaceutical sciences throughout the Commonwealth and to improve the quality and range of services offered there by professional pharmacists.

In 2002, to mark the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, the Commonwealth Pharmacists’ Association, in conjunction with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, established a Commonwealth Jubilee Travel Fellowship.

The Fellowship will be awarded biennially to a young pharmacist or pharmacy student to give them an opportunity to visit another Commonwealth country.

By meeting with pharmacists, pharmacy organisations and regulatory authorities in the Commonwealth country of their choice, the awardees will be able to improve their own practice skills and in turn assist with the development of pharmacy in their own country.  Attendance at the CPA or national conference could form part of the travel plan.

Applications are invited from pharmacists working in any area of pharmacy practice – community, hospital, industrial or academic – and pharmacy students. Click the full document below.
