Malta Chamber of Pharmacists calls for Improved Access to Innovative Medicines

The Malta Chamber of Pharmacists yesterday hosted the leader of the Opposition, Dr. Simon Busuttil and Shadow Minister for Health, Ms. Claudette Buttigieg and Nationalist Party Candidates Dr. Mario Rizzo Naudi and Mr. Roderick Bugeja.

Malta Chamber of Pharmacists President, Ms. Mary Ann Sant Fournier and the Executive Committee delegation tabled the agenda below for discussion:

1. Pre budget document of the PN as it effects Health, Pharmacy, pharmacists, medicines.
2. Courtesy explanation of Service Level Agreement and Domiciliary Delivery of medicines pilot project.
3. New expensive medicines on the Government Formulary List.
4. Consolidation of clinical pharmacy at primary, secondary and tertiary levels of care.
