The President and Executive Council of the Kamra ta' l-Ispizjara ta' Malta express their sympathy on the passing away of our dear pharmacist colleague Owen Farrugia at the age of 38 years. Owen graduated BPharm (Hons) in 1996. Owen practised in regulatory affairs, working for a local distributing firm as a Responsible Person. The Ministry of Health, the Elderly and Community Care launched The National Sexual Health Policy in November 2010.  The Policy calls for training of health professionals in developing the knowledge and skills. Training sessions are being offered for various professionals working in both the public and private sector. The training will be provided by Dr Mark Hayter PhD (University of Sheffield, UK) and Dr Roderick Bugeja PhD (University of Malta), who are both specialists in the field of sexuality and sexual health.
