The President and Council would like to thank all those pharmacists who attended the above event last Thursday 29th January at Lija Football club at 7.30pm. The Kamra hosted a meeting with AMR and PRIMA on monday 19th January to discuss the recently issued LN 401 of 2014 amending SL 458.49 Prescribing and Dispensing Rules (Medicines Act CAP 458) which introduces generic prescribing and dispensing across the board. The meeting was very cordial and during the same meeting amendments were proposed to LN 401 of 2014 which will be presented to the PS Health in an upcoming meeting of the AMR. A model Substance Abuse Free Employee Policy (S.A.F.E) at the workplace was launched yesterday morning 20.01.15 during a business breakfast organised by Aġenzija Sedqa. This was attended by the President and Secretary. The President and Secretary have attended a Forum Nazzjonali Trade Unions Seminar held last Saturday 17.01.15 under the auspices of the President of the Republic H.E. M.L. Coleiro Preca on the subject of Dealing with Multiple Claims for Trade Union Recognition.
